2024-07-06 07:52:36 +0000 UTCSo for this particular series, the manga is done in a short chapter format, basically each chapter is usually only 4 pages and covers a gag/event/interaction/etc... between the main duo (though there are some chapters with a part 2). It looks like the anime decided to keep this format and I think that's the reason for why it "skips" and jumps around. The manga is also only 6 volumes and is done, so there is a good chance that the whole thing will be adapted into just this season.
