WATER SPRITE
This was only the second shoot I ever had with the adorable and sweet Stephanie. She is as genuine and lovely as a person as she is visually, yet far more quiet and shy that you would think given her confidence in her images.
I’ve been impressed with Stephanie from the beginning. She isn’t afraid to be honest and speak her mind, but never forces her opinions on others. She’s both old-fashioned and modern, with one foot firmly in tradition and another stepping forward into the future.
This series was taken in a nearby stream by a horse ranch. Though the water was dark and murky, she had no qualms about getting dirty in the muck in order to capture the best images. And since I never want a model to do anything that I wouldn’t do, I ended up sitting in the water up to my chest to achieve a majority of these shots.
