FLORA AND FAUNA
I shoot with Erika at least once a month, but I don’t post most of what we shoot. Sometimes I worry it might be too artsy for posting here, but then I know that many of you following me here DO like the artsy experiments I do as well as my more flagrant “boobie” shoots.
This series was our most recent, taken only two weekends ago in my backyard. During quarantine we shot a lot in my backyard, but I think this series is more successful than most of those. Erika was very thin the last two years, suffering through a myriad of tough mental and emotional struggles. Not now she’s up to a bit of a healthier weight, and even if you can’t tell, she and I both can.
I adore this woman. She has been a true and loyal friend and I can never thank her enough for what she’s meant to me in my life.
