WHEN THE MUSIC’S STARTING
You know that feeling when everything seems to be going right. When an evening meeting or a lunch date somehow moves to the next level, the mood changes, the energy gains momentum. That show this series feels with the legendary Erna Burns.
This was taken in her bedroom last month in Los Angeles. She was as sweet and goofy and sincere and lovely as she has ever been, and for some reason, everything that day felt right. Every shot was a keeper, every moment a laugh and smile and joy.
Erna is one of my favorite people, a loyal collaborator, a new friend, a witty conversationalist. It’s been a distinct honor getting to know her and even more fun being able to create as much gorgeous work as we have together in these few short months.
