WINTER SOLSTICE
The year 2020 is drawing to a close. I don’t like to think of a year as all good or all bad, but 2020 was definitely a complicated one for many of us, a horrible year for others, and the last for too many.
All I can hope to do with my art is brighten as much of the world as I can, to capture beauty and inspire those lacking hope. The future is always scary, but we must trust ourselves, have faith in one another, and stride valiantly forward. No good was ever done by doing nothing, and no harm was ever done when trying to be your best.
Please do your best to be good humans in 2021. Do your best, listen more than you speak, compromise when necessary, and love your neighbor as you would yourself. I know I’ll be trying to do the same.
