Perhaps surprisingly, Highschool of the Dead is only the 2nd place finisher in absolute number of panty shots in a non-hentai anime. The record is still held by Najica Blitz Tactics, although High School wins in quality of animation. The third-place (and also well animated) is the high school martial arts series Ikkitousen.
