I don't think i've ever seen a single reactor understand Yukino's mom. She's actually a really nice lady. Most people just hear Haruno's description of her as scary and know that Yukino's relationship with her is a bit strained and just assume that she is super controlling and then completely discount the fact that Haruno and Yukino aren't exactly reliable narrators or that it's mentioned multiple times that Yukino is given a lot of freedom because she isn't the one expected to inherit the family business.
