Without saying spoilers I’ll just say the author did something that hurt the chances for a new season. It’ll probably be another 5-7 years at best

2024-03-28 07:19:46 +0000 UTCIt’s so tragic how much the anime warps Kiyo’s personality from the light novels into a cold unfeeling person who doesn’t care about anything. I wish they gave us more than one episode for the .5 volumes but it’s better than nothing so I’ll take it. Also I just have to point out because it is my favorite scene in the year one novels is that he says maybe there will be a future where that isn't the case where he means maybe there is a future he doesn't need to get rid of her after he learns about love. And his last quote isn't talking about the next time he is holding someone, he is talking about how he hopes that in that moment he is actually smiling because he's so ill informed about emotions he doesn't even know if he is smiling because he wouldn't be able to tell.
