Diablo is an archdemon during this episode. Primordial is basically his social status, Archdemon refers to evolutionary level. When demons are first summoned to the material world, the highest evolution they can be summoned as is archdemon. That is a limitation placed on them as a species. Unless they meet certain condition in the material world, they cannot use all of their power from the demon realm, they are limited.

Demons > Angels Angels > Spirits Spirits > Demons it is like rock-paper-scissors. spirits do not tip the scales against demons, it is balanced. Each species has an advantage against one and disadvantage against another.

2025-01-26 04:54:18 +0000 UTCSince you are throwing spoilers out, I'm going to assume that I can at least say the below: What I can say from what I've read from the wiki, because I haven't found a reliable scan of the novel, Rimuru has 12 powerful named individuals that become his "Twelve Patrons", also called the "Twelve Guardian Lords" as they are all awakened True Demon Lords with a title of " Lord". We know most of them; Benimaru, Geld, Gabiru, Ranga, Shion, Diablo, as well as one that we have only seen as a side character in the "Slime Diary" series. There is also an elite four man group team that contains three of the "Twelve Patrons" in it, with Benimaru leading the group, the only one of the four in the group known as the "Four Heavenly Kings" in one translation that isn't a Patron is Gobta, Shion and Diablo are the other two from the "Twelve Patrons" that are a part of the "Four Heavenly Kings". Simply put Benimaru stands near the top of Rimuru's subordinates, Diablo and the one that we have encountered that hasn't popped off are near equals to him, with I think Shion carrying behind them with the resto of the "Twelve Patrons" behind her. Of the "Twelve Patrons", we have yet to technically meet five of them, three in particular won't be joining yet, as they have yet to come up in the manga directly, though one of those three does make an appearance following the main cast of one of the side series for their own amusement. Note: If I went overboard about these spoilers, I apologize. I felt like giving these wasn't wrong given your comments in the video
