Just had a weird theory. Cid early on experimented on local slimes (we saw one on the train) to make his slime suit and those of shadow garden. But much of Cid's power deals with manipulation of the possessed blood. But when possessed people are untreated, they dissolve into rotting masses. Do these masses then slink off into the world and become mindless slimes, hence why Cid can control them?

2024-11-30 02:27:26 +0000 UTCGotta remember, Cid doesn't understand that the money Gamma has is technically his to use, he thinks they're all doing their own thing separate from him and just coming around to play pretend with him sometimes, which is why he's annoyed when he finds they've taken his ideas and become super successful sometimes. That's why he's so obsessed with getting his own money all the time to support his Shadow persona, instead of just getting it from Shadow Garden.

2023-10-19 11:49:47 +0000 UTCBasically all Aurora was talking about was that all the Possessed (shadow garden, Claire, the three heroes) and the progenitor vampires are all mutations of her blood given to the test subjects and passed down through generations. It was talked about in the super lore heavy arc in season 1. That's what she meant by she's the original, all of them came from her genes originally.
