PULP
Earlier this year, when I was having serious doubts about continuing with my photography career, I worked with the lovely and outgoing Pulp Suicide, a legend in the Suicide Girls community. I met her at her apartment north of Los Angeles and we spent a morning laughing, gossiping, and having a seamless, easy, fun time.
Though we didn’t shoot a wide variety of images, this second series we shot that day will always hold a special place in my heart because it helped me realize that even tired, doubting myself, and uninspired, I could still have a great time during a shoot and walk away with strong images I was proud of. Pulp helped me clear my head and focus on why I started shooting in the first place. And for that I’ll always be grateful.
