BACK TO ATHENS

You never know who you’re going to meet when you travel. I’ve had some really tough, challenging experiences, but then sometimes you get lucky and find a new friend.

Rania is one of those friends. We’ve texted with each other at least once a week since my return from Greece over a month ago. We hit it off immediately, joking about the same things, realizing we also hate the same things. Not only is she fun and curvaceous, but she’s just a downright sweetheart.

This series was shot mostly with an old Lensbaby, which had been sitting on my shelf for almost a decade until I recently dusted it off. I took it to Europe unsure it I’d use it or not, and when I had this shoot with Rania, I was just tired enough to try it out. Obviously we walked away with pure gold.
