Viktorya in Swiss Trailer

After my friend Sharon and I picked up Ukraine model Viktoria (Spelled Viktoria, Viktorya, and three different spellings of her last name due to Russian and English versions), we headed back to Sharon’s farm in Eastern Switzerland. Not sure of where to begin but knowing Viktoria only had a couple of hours, we started in the small 1970s trailer I had been sleeping in the last few nights behind Sharon’s barn. Also called a Caravan in Europe, the small trailer was as vintage as they come, but it was quaint with it’s fake wood paneling, classic velveteen patterned cushions, and period-specific knobs and switches. Viktoria loved it immediately, and it took no time at all for her to strip down to very little.

Sharon is a great photographer in her own right, and though I wouldn’t usually allow this to happen, I let her take part in the shoot, shooting over my shoulder and directing the model whenever I was busy switching lenses. Usually this would bug the hell out of me, which is why all my workshops have a strict rule of only one photographer at a time working with the model. I’ve heard of so many workshops and seminars turning into some weird form of a photo-gangbang that I’ve never been a fan. But I love Sharon and she has helped me a lot over the years, including letting me and my mom and aunt stay there on their farm for a week in Switzerland.

The shoot could not have gone smoother, and as I’ve mentioned before, though Viktoria’s English was perfect, it was far better than a lot of people in the US. She was sweet and fun and open, and had no qualms about working with two photographers at once. She had a whole suitcase of clothes to choose from, but as usual, within a few moments she defaulted to plain nudity, which neither Sharon nor I complained about. Sharon’s husband, Bert, an older and somewhat old-fashioned Swiss farmer, didn’t mind catching a few peeks himself from time to time.

This set is pretty extensive, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did shooting it. It’s one thing to shoot locally with girls I know, but to work with a professional Ukrainian model in Switzerland and still come away with good work, I am sometimes shocked and confused by my own life.
