Not only was it the first images I shot on my return to Italy, but it was with two very special women that have become good friends. This was the first time I really let myself shoot as dark and moody as I wanted, rather than being afraid and lightening the images up unnecessarily. I'm extremely proud of these images, and hope you'll enjoy this LARGER THAN USUAL set and a MUCH LONGER THAN USUAL essay describing my mind-set and approach to shooting it all.
