The Making of a Goddess, pt. 2
Added 2017-10-30 19:06:50 +0000 UTCHaving become slightly burnt out on standard "pretty model" photos, I'm trying to make a concerted effort to put more effort into staged images. That said, last week I made this head dress and planned an elaborate shoot in which to feature it. Yesterday, with the help of new model Shaley, a wise-talking physics major, we made it happen over the course of two hours. I painted her face, applied the tape, and constructed the set, all while making sure she had music and a heater to keep her functional. Here is the result.
Lastly, this video was made on my phone with an iMovie app. I'm not sold on this technique, but it is helpful since my computer is old and makes editing video incredibly time consuming. More samples coming soon!

Really like the final outcome, and am looking forward to more results from the production. The head-piece does look a bit too cumbersome for free movement though. Not a big fan of the rawness of the film though. Guess I am just a bit spoiled by the edited images. =)
