IN THE BLUE
The now legendary Jesslyn and I have been friends since the moment we met. Six years ago, when she had just turned 18, she reached out to me asking if I’d work with her. I don’t recall this part of the story, but apparently I told her “no.” Only a few months later, when I saw her liking all Facebook posts did I suddenly notice and appreciate her beauty, asking if I could take her photo, and two days later she was sitting on my sofa.
Within moments of talking, I knew I liked this woman. Loud, fun, opinionated, tomboyish yet dead sexy, Jesslyn is the perfect woman. She knows she can make men beg, and she loves to make them do it. However, she’s also insecure and desperate for attention.
“I don’t know why I do it, it’s not like my dad didn’t love me or anything…!” she’ll often say. She grew up upper-middle class in the suburbs, is talented in singing, playing music, writing, graphic design, painting, etc. And like others with those same drives, she doesn’t know where to focus.
Jess and I have had so many fun, drunk times together, but the things I value most are our deep, quite franks and honest conversations over the last six years. Even though I don’t see her often, I still consider her one of my closest friends.
