SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND

One night a few weeks ago, Whitney had come over to sit on my sofa and drink margaritas. Actually, it was a concoction I had made up of juices and alcohol I had on hand, to which we began calling them “Mark-aritas,” but that’s just a stupid side note.

“What are we doing tonight?” She asked in her calm yet eager manner. I had no real idea, but had rediscovered my white lamp-head and some sparklers I had bought the year before, so I offered to take her out for a dark, outdoor shoot. Of course, she was down.

We loaded up the few things we needed and drove out to Sisquoc where I arranged what we needed. I unloaded a bunch of boxes and paper I usually keep collected in the back of my small pickup and stacked them on a flat piece of asphalt that is far enough away from the dry vegetation of the California landscape. With my vehicle and her in position, I lit the fire and began clicking away. She wasn’t sure what to do at first, but once she saw my angle and what I was capturing on the back of the camera, she immediately was impressed and inspired. 

Next I pulled out the sparklers, struggling with the cheap lighters I had purchased some weeks previous to keep the stubborn things lit. Whitney, of course, was brave enough to crouch down nude next to the fire and stick her hands and the sparklers directly into the flames until they were lit, then quickly jumped up and positioned herself where she needed to be for the camera’s angle. The sparklers only lasted 30 seconds or so at a time, so we breezed through the four boxes I had rather quickly, especially since we used two at a time in each hand for the first several shots. Once we had run out, we knew it was time for the next phase.

I had her take turns wearing black lingerie and being naked, thus having somewhat censored images to share on social media and the nudies for you loyal fans here on Patreon. She was fine with either option. Next, I handed her the lamp-head and showed her how to turn it on. I had her pose with it, positioning the head just right as to hide her most sensitive areas from the camera.

In total, we weren’t out there more than an hour, but the results were worth it. As always, she said that now THIS was her favorite shoot we had done, but that sweetheart says that after every shoot.
