LITERALLY CAN’T

Earlier this year world-traveling-model Roarie Yum stopped by for a visit, and before she left she gave me this shirt, saying to use it with one of my models. So when Kaitlin and I finally arranged to shoot together, I knew she would be perfect.

Kaitlin has been wanting to work with me since she started modeling last year, but I kept telling her no. Not because she wasn’t my kind of model, she’s clearly stunning. But she was 17 at the time, and I have a strict rule about no one under 18. It bothered me that so many young photographers were working with her, not getting her parent’s permission, not having anyone in her family sign a release form.

When I first started out over a decade age I’d been stung by a miscreant who have lied about her age and later tried to get money out of me, so I am very careful about not working with anyone under 18 ever. The week I left for Italy this summer Kaitlin turned 18 and we arranged to finally shoot when I returned. Sadly, we would only have this one chance to shoot before she moved away to college this last week, but we still have plans to shoot more when she returns.

ANYWAY…

Kaitlin has a fair bit of experience under her belt in a relatively short amount of time, though she still has a way to go in learning both what her body can do and how to relax in front of the camera. She still poses far too much, thinking she has to hold a single position like a statue until the next frame comes or she’s told to move. Still, her beauty and shape are hard to beat and I see great potential for creating magic with her in the future.

This is just the first sample of my shots with her, we tried many different outfits and I’ve decided to make each one its own individual series. I’m sharing this first one with the discount $5 Level for the sake of my big AUGUST EXTRAVAGANZA! I hope you enjoy it!
