MONDAY LOOMS

We all know that feeling on Sunday evening, that dread of knowing that your free time will be over and the next morning you’ll be at your crappy job putting up with your shitty coworkers.

When I finished this last shot with Jordan River a few months ago, it was late on a Sunday afternoon and we were both feeling that. I was lamenting returning to my soul-stealing corporate job while she was definitely not looking forward to her drive back north to Portland.

Though we had never met before, we had an instant rapport and could be very honest with each other immediately. We discussed the problems with our industry, the curse and draw of social media, maintaining relationships while doing what we do, and so much more. She was genuine and real, and still new enough in this world to be unsure of her boundaries. She wanted to get dirtier, explore the BDSM and eroticism of modeling, but was still barely taking her first steps, having shot with Ashley Lane only the day before. At that point I hadn’t met Ashley yet and was intrigued by tales of her almost molesting Jordan and how much she surprisingly liked it.

Jordan didn’t have a lot of clothing options after shooting for several days in LA, so she slipped on a horrendous pair of camouflage panties and some overalls and teased the camera on my favorite deserted road. We gossiped and laughed about stupid things we had witnessed in our respective lives, I made my usual comments in order to make a new acquaintance laugh in front of my lens, and overall, just enjoyed the last remnants of the fading sun.

Eventually Jordan changed into a grey bodysuit I had brought and I doused her with a bottle of water that was colder than I had thought, which made her squeal with uncomfortable glee. We shot for another few minutes before she had to strip it off completely. She is sensitive to the cold and just couldn’t’ take it anymore, and with my firm belief that the model calls the shots, I abruptly grabbed a towel for her to slip nude into.

It was a nice little afternoon, and I’m glad to have kept in touch with Jordan ever since. She’s a sweet kid who has had a run of bad luck here and there, especially with men, but I have high hopes for her in the future.
