Jenna and Erika, pt. 2

Jenna and Erika are currently some of my longest running models. I met Jenna in a thrift store when she was only 16, and she was so lovely I had to work with her even though she was breaking my “no one under 18” rule. So every shoot until she was 18 I had her mother standing next to me. Erika, on the other hand, came over to my house at age 18 and rather quickly got topless, showing off her perfect figure. Famously, my friend who is a photographer for The LA Lakers gave Erika the nickname “The Body.”
Earlier this year, during the torrential downpour of rain that brought on the super bloom, I discovered this patch of flowers on a cliff I frequently shoot at. I had never seen flowers there, let alone blooms that reached over my head, so I knew I had to call my two favorite girls. Though they had countless friends in common, having grown up in the same neighborhood, they had never actually met, and within seconds were chatting like old friends in the back of my vehicle while I sped us to the location. I admittedly am not great at shooting two women at once, so I took them individually. Still, it was great having them both there at the same time to bounce off ideas, give alternative suggestions of wardrobe and posing, etc. The afternoon could not have gone smoother.
