LIT UP

I think I’ve worked with over 600 women in my 15 year career as a photographer, and few of them I can really say I adore. Erika is definitely one of those few.

Erika is just genuinely sweet, well-meaning, and sincere. She will always try to do the right thing, never ask for anything, and will never want to complain, even if she thinks she’s being wronged. She works hard, does her best to save money, cares a lot about making people feel good and safe, yet also doesn’t understand when others don’t act the same way towards her.

Erika has no drama, no nonsense. She keeps a safe distance from most people, due to past hurts or issues delivered from her mom, but when she feels love, she shows it.

These images were taken at that hotel shoot a couple months ago. They’re not groundbreaking or terribly revealing, but they’re cute, sweet, and easily convey her charming presence. I’ve been struggling lately in life, rushed for time and feeling uninspired, but I will be posting here a lot in the next several weeks to finally share all my backlog of images, I hope you guys like them. Please let me know what you think!
