I sent out a model search on Instagram and as feared, received almost a hundred messages from women who all seemed wonderful and sweet but didn't fit my criteria. Thankfully, a few were worth trying out, including Emily here. She is an adopted Latina who has been a ballet dancer her whole life. She was all set to become a prima ballerina in a prestigous dance program when she discovered she was pregnant. Now a single mom doing her best to get back into a creative environment, she reached out and said she'd be open to any ideas I might have. So I called her on her bluff.
