Added 2016-08-24 16:43:55 +0000 UTCI've looked for years to find a Black model who feels comfortable being nude, and it has been very difficult. I'm not sure why, but most Black women, like many Mexican or Latina women I've approached, have a deeper fear of judgement from their family or friends about being nude, even when they've expressed interest in modeling. White women (and this is a vast generalization based on my years of experience), grew up looking at their dad's Playboy collection and feel more confidence about putting their image out into the world. I'm sure some psychology student is working on this concept for their thesis as I type.
