First Impressions of Erika, Pt. 2/3

She had brought a bunch of clothes I can only describe as funky, with odd straps, underwear covered in glitter or rhinestones, furry tops and half-shirts that showed far too much skin. Only when I questioned why she would have so much odd clothing did she confess happily to being a Raver, traveling as far as she could to attend raves and concerts and music events to dance her heart out. Shy and often self-doubting in her daily life, those events allow her to be as fun and outgoing and accepted as she longs to be every other day of the year.
She had a loving yet distant father, an over-powering and mostly disagreeing mother, and yet did not view either of them as negatives. She accepted people for who they were, tried to be as positive and drama-free as was possible, worked hard at her two jobs, and tried not to take herself or the world too seriously.
