Added 2016-07-12 18:29:05 +0000 UTCI'm so glad to finally promote my first official music video! I've been toying with shooting and editing video for a few years now, but to be commissioned to create a video on my own proved to be a bit of a fun and exciting challenge.
At first I tried desperately to literally illustrate the words and music Emily shared with me, but eventually we scrapped all the footage we had shot and I took a different route. I shot moving images of her the way I have been shooting still images of other models recently, using reflection, colors, and the blur and abstraction of a narrow depth of field. In the end, I feel it turned out pretty good.
Of course, like all creative people, i can only see the flaws in it now, but it's good enough to call it "done" and to share it with the rest of the world. Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
