Benefits at the $55 Level: ZINES and POSTCARDS!

Hello again, and thank you all for your continued support!  This post is just to inform those of you who don't know about my $55 level, which not only includes even more exclusive photo sets that can only be found at that level, but special items that will be sent to you in "the real world." Each month you sponsor at that level, you will receive a new monthly Zine featuring dozens of uncensored images, most of which have never been in print or even posted anywhere online.

In addition to the Zine, you will also receive a personalized postcard I will make for you, collaged on the back of an actual 4x6" photo print of one of my images. And to alleviate your fears,  both the postcard and Zine will be delivered in a non-descript envelope, so don't worry about your neighbors seeing any nudity in your mailbox, haha :)

But that's not all! At that level you can actually request specific models for me to shoot that will only be posted to that level. You can suggest locations, photo ideas, etc. I'm open to hearing your ideas!

Once again, thank you for helping make what I do possible, it means the world to me. And please always feel free to send me feedback on your favorite models, ideas for shoots, prospective models, or general constructive criticism on my images. There are no wrong opinions here. Keep in touch!

Hello, Mark Velasquez! I'm a Brazilian photographer and I'm also an admirer of your work! I currently only have enough ressources to support two people on Patreon and you are one of them. (The other is Corwin Prescott, in case you might want to know but also be too polite to ask. :-> ) Are those messages personal? I think I'll find out about that in a second... The reason why I know about Patreon is because photographers like you and Corwin and now some others (Moss Von Faustenberg is doing an interesting series, IMHO) took the first step. I'm currently shooting ... let's say... "good enough" and, I hope, creatively enough to get some attention from other photographer's and models in Instagram and 500px. That's a good sign, as it has been changing for the better. I'm not doing well in the self-marketing & sales dept. , but I'm not gonna as you "how do you do it" because I think it's about the same as in Instagram: persistance, communication and trying to understand my audience. More accurately, I think it's about doing work that's consistent / insteresting enough with / for "audience X" which will them map themselves to your work / feed. So, I'm here to say you have some great ideas, your pictures are .... they are good in many ways and, if you are like me and would like another photographer's opinion (be what may...), you tell me, I'll do my best to say something pertinent. What I want to know is if this platform, and the "permanent crowdfunding" idea, will keep going. Will we reach a point of saturation or, with the current world population, will there be enough patrons to pay for those of us who generate some interest? I will try what I can here, I'll probably be frustrated in the begining, as I was with Instagram for a LONG while, and then maybe there will be a click. Ahn... If you could share some of the wisdom you've gained so far, I'd appreciate that. Without being invasive etc, I'm asking more about the platform paying out the time involving than "how do I become famous and dandy"... :o) BTW, the reason why I'm not paying more is that currently Brazil is undergoing some really difficult times. the dollar is at 3.5 to 1, we don't earn 3.5 times as much as americans do, quite the contrary... so I'm trying to keep my CC under control! Thanks a lot if you read it this far, Mark!! And keep the ladies coming ... in the good sense... although both are good, in spite the new "feminazi" way of life...
