She just quickly forced her hand down into the water, creating a quick slurping sound and generating a slight disturbance in the water, which completely amputated her arm from her shoulder, visually. I really like this image, and though I refuse to ever hang any of my own work in my house for fear of being accused of vanity, I have thought of breaking my rule for this image because I enjoy looking at it so much.
