I promise to continue to post only the best images I have here and relate all the real, unabridged stories of how and why they came into creation.
For example, here is Katie, one of the sweetest, most real models I ever had, starting back in 2008. She was always open, fun, and never had any agenda other than wanting to hang out and be silly. She never made any demands on me other than to "make me look good," which clearly was never difficult.
The afternoon we shot these, we had gone to a local clothing store to have her try on a few things I wanted to purchase for a shoot. She expressed an interest in this hat, so I bought it for her behind her back. Upon returning to my house she said we should take a few photos with it and immediately stripped down and hopped into my new red sheets and just acted silly for a few minutes.
That is how most of my shoots ended up with Katie, just candid, unplanned moments that last in the memory for years. I've lost touch with her recently due to the normal happenings of life, but I know that we both hold a high level of mutual respect for each other.
I've been lucky enough to create lasting friendships with most of the women I've worked with, and I'm honored to have them consider me a reliable and stable voice of clarity in their lives. I look forward to continuing my work in 2016 and bringing you more images with my unique perspective. Thank you again and Happy New Year!
