2022-01-23 23:36:09 +0000 UTCYeah I watched 'Crash Landing On You' all the way through, and it definitely has an issue with consistency in its tone. It only gets super serious near the end, and by that point it almost feels cheesy lol. I enjoyed it though, just because of the character writing.

Something else I kept thinking throughout this episode was that Sua would totally kill the crazy lady role. 😂 She has the voice and the erratic cockiness down! I agree with your comment about levity in Korean film, I usually appreciate that. It can go too far though - I tried watching Crash Landing On You because of its premise (South Korean chaebol heiress accidentally paragliding into the North), but the show just didn't take itself seriously enough to deliver for me. 🤔
