10/05 Progress Report

The monthly files have been updated with the latest weekly content.

CG Scenes

The recent poll results showed that most of my patrons prefer realistic artwork over dynamic animations. Because of that, I focused this week on creating a highly detailed CG scene to enhance the event encounter sequence.

While I’m satisfied with the overall quality of the CG, it took a bit longer than I would’ve liked to finish. It's also bigger than the game's typical CG scenes, so there's a button to position the CG animation. Going forward, I’ll continue maintaining the high-resolution art style, but aim to find a better balance between quality and efficiency so that I can deliver more consistent weekly content without delays.

Event Encounter Addition

A new encounter for the Insectoid has been added this week.
It includes a new CG scene, fresh dialogue, and additional animations.

More scenes may be added to the encounter scenes, but I'll tone down the artwork and make it part of a bigger update if possible on later updates.

Additional Updates

I’m currently working on adding a new background/helper UI using Blender blocks, which I’m converting into a pixelated style to match the game’s aesthetic and mechanics.

This feature was originally planned for this week’s update, but I’m still ironing out some issues and refining the process to ensure a smoother final result.

If everything goes as planned, I’ll push out an extra update later this week to complete the feature. If not, it will be included in a larger update next week (monthly patrons will receive the updated files as well).

Update logs and polls will be posted when the new version is released. The weekly and monthly files have been updated.
