"Goodness, what on earth is happening!?" 


A bald young man suddenly muttered to himself as he found himself in a stadium.


The crowd was cheering, and the area was deafeningly loud.


Several curious onlookers glanced at the young man's gleaming head.


"What is going on..." The young man questioned silently as he gazed at the stage in the arena.


Two individuals who appeared to be martial artists were engaged in a fierce battle on the stage. Their movements were lightning-fast, and the crowd was in a frenzy.


[Host. Welcome to the world of Dragon Ball. From now on, you must survive in this world.]


"Nani? Who's speaking?" The young man thought to himself.


Why was he in the Dragon Ball world? The young man was utterly bewildered.


[You have been transported to this world by the system.]


'System? Why did you bring me here? What's wrong with you?' the young man wondered.


[Host. This is your doing. In your final moments, you wished to become Saitama, the main character of One Punch Man.]


The young man was left speechless. It was true. He had made that wish. He had died of cancer, and his final wish was to be like Saitama, his favorite anime character because he related to him.


'I know I wished to be Saitama, but why bring me to the world of Dragon Ball? It's the opposite of what I wished for.'


[Host. You will temporarily inhabit the world of Dragon Ball to train yourself.]


'Train myself?'


[That's correct. Majin Buu is about to wreak havoc in this world, and you must train to defeat him.]


'Can't Goku and the others handle Majin Buu on their own? Why should an ordinary cancer patient like me have to take on that guy?'


[Host. The system deliberately placed you in the Dragon Ball timeline where the world cannot be saved by the Dragon Ball heroes.]


'Why bring me here!? How can an ordinary cancer patient like me possibly defeat such a terrifying creature!?'


[Calm down, host. You have the blessing of the system. You can gain Saitama's power as long as you follow the training instructions from 'One Punch Man Episode 3.']


'Yes, I remember that episode...'

Julius, now Saitama, felt solemn when he read about the punishment.


'Do I start training right now?'

'Alright, alright!'


With that, Saitama hurriedly made his way out of the arena.


As he went, Saitama felt a sense of joy. He could now walk in the sunshine, unlike his previous self who had spent his days bedridden in the hospital, suffering.


Saitama then followed the instructions provided by the system.


While doing push-ups in a nearby park, many people stared at him strangely, perhaps because he was dressed in the iconic yellow hero suit of the original Saitama. He paid no mind to the onlookers and curiously asked the system, "System, why did you change my name from Julius to Saitama?"


[Host, as I mentioned before, all of this is happening because of your last wish. Therefore, the system fulfilled your wish and changed your name to Saitama.]


"I don't quite understand, but it doesn't bother me too much. I'm just happy to be Saitama," he replied.


[Host, you haven't fully become Saitama just yet; you're on the path to becoming Saitama as long as you train diligently.]


Young Saitama simply smiled and continued his exercises.


"How am I supposed to complete the other tasks without an apartment?" he inquired.


"Don't worry, host. The system has already taken care of everything."


With that, a transparent screen, visible only to him, appeared before Saitama. On the screen was a map, likely indicating the location of his new residence.


"When will the Majin Buu Saga take place?"


[The Majin Buu Saga in this world will commence three years from now.]


"Three years? Perfect! I'll have ample time to become powerful!" Saitama thought with excitement. He then inquired further, "What level should I reach to defeat Majin Buu?"


[According to my estimation, the host will need to reach Level 40, which is approximately 40% of the original Saitama's power. By the end of three years, the host is projected to reach Level 98.55.]


"Wow! I'll be leveling up that quickly? That's awesome!" 


Filled with motivation, young Saitama sprinted towards the apartment the system had prepared for him. It seemed that the system intentionally placed his apartment 10 kilometers away, but Saitama ran with unwavering determination.

This fanfic story just pop out of my mind and I felt that I should write it while I'm still planning for the plot of Tycoon of Video Games.
