Chapter 14 Light's Order and Organization name

After the grand feast, the cover of night had already embraced the Clover Kingdom. Asta, brimming with unparalleled excitement due to his newfound grimoire, struggled to contain his bubbling enthusiasm. Yuno, his eternal rival, also appeared to be filled with a similar excitement under his calm exterior.

These two relentless individuals remained wide awake for what seemed like an eternity before the soothing embrace of sleep finally claimed them.

Silently, Light strode out of the chapel, his presence shrouded in an eerie aura. Outside the chapel, Revchi, the summoned figure, patiently awaited his master's emergence.

"Master," Revchi greeted with profound respect, lowering himself to one knee in a display of loyalty and submission.

Light couldn't help but chuckle, clearly amused by the situation. "Do you have any inkling as to why you are here?" he inquired, his eyes gleaming with intrigue.

In comparison to his initial subordinate, William, Revchi displayed a sharper intellect. With an eerie smile, Revchi solemnly nodded. "I may not have all the answers, but I can certainly make an educated guess."

Light's amusement persisted as he leaned in, eager to hear Revchi's thoughts. "Go ahead, then. Tell me your guess."

Revchi hesitated briefly before offering his tentative conjecture. "You want me... to return to the ranks of the Purple Orca and assume the position of Captain?"

"You guessed it," Light affirmed with a nod. He understood that Revchi possessed a unique connection to him through the Death Flame residing within his body. Unlike before, Light had refined the Death Flame significantly. It now required only a minimal amount of mana to cast, yet its effects had grown stronger, and it boasted a multitude of functions. This marvel stemmed from the fact that Light wielded True Death Magic, a rare and unique attribute within this world. As far as Light knew, he had encountered no others with a similar magical attribute, nor had he come across any literature on True Death Magic in his current lifetime.

Revchi, perplexed by the offer, couldn't help but voice his concerns. "How? Forgive my audacity in asking, Master, but I have a rather tarnished record... I doubt they would readily accept my return."

Light chuckled softly, his indifference evident. "I knew you'd have questions, which is why I've already made the necessary arrangements," he disclosed. "I've already informed the Vice Captain of the Crimson Lion to lend you assistance."

Despite the considerable distance between them, Light had also enhanced the Death Flame residing within William's body. In truth, as William journeyed to visit Light, his body served as an ongoing experiment for Light's magical advancements. Though it inflicted considerable torment upon William, Light remained unfazed by such matters.

"Crimson Lion Vice Cap- Captain!" Revchi's voice quivered with shock, his surprise evident. He hadn't anticipated that his master had a subordinate who held the position of Vice Captain within a Magic Knight Squad. Furthermore, the Vice Captain seemed to be in a similar situation to his own.

For a brief moment, excitement coursed through Revchi, visible in his reaction.

Light, amused by Revchi's response, chuckled. "You do seem rather thrilled," he remarked, observing Revchi's reaction.

"Forgive my momentary lapse in composure, Master," Revchi said, quickly regaining his composure.

Light didn't hold it against him; such astonishment was only natural. The revelation that he possessed a servant who held the prestigious position of Vice Captain in the kingdom's third most powerful Magic Knight Squad would astonish anyone.

Sensing that Revchi still required some clarification, Light decided to elaborate. "William Rozlee. He's the Vice Captain of the Crimson Lion," he stated, his tone cold. "And much like you, he shares a similar circumstance."

Revchi, though vaguely aware of this fact, couldn't help but be taken aback by the confirmation.

Light proceeded to shed light on the uniqueness of William's magic. "His magic differs significantly from yours. He wields Fire Dark Magic, which aligns perfectly with the Crimson Lion's specialization in fire elemental magic. This rarity in his magic earned him early acceptance and promotion, thanks to his unique mutated magic."

Initially, Light had presumed that William possessed Dark Magic due to the prototype Death Flame. However, during William's journeys to the capital and subsequent encounters with adversaries, he had awakened the extraordinary power of Fire Dark Magic.

Receiving such crucial information, Light couldn't contain his excitement, yet at the same time, he lamented the state of the prototype Death Flame he had once created with his True Death Magic attribute. If only that Death Flame had been as advanced as it was now, he believed he could have unlocked the hidden secrets of the Grimoire spells and Magic types concealed within William's Grimoire.

Revchi, fortunate to receive this explanation from his master, nodded gratefully, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"Go on your way now. William is already preparing to meet you," Light said as he turned to make his way back inside the church.

But then, a frosty thought crossed Light's mind. He turned back to Revchi, who knelt before him, and stared into his eyes with chilling intensity. "Oh... One more thing," Light's voice grew colder. "Erase any lingering grudge you hold against Asta and Yuno."

Revchi, who had harbored grievances toward Yuno and especially Asta, but had been unable to act due to his compromised will, gulped in terror as he met the coldness in Light's eyes.

True, he still harbored thoughts and emotions, seemingly untouched by the Death Flame that had replaced his very soul. It was a deceptive facade, for the Death Flame remained the master of his will, having devoured his original soul.

Light's benevolent smile graced his face as he observed Revchi, who had now relinquished his grudge against Asta and Yuno.

"And when you infiltrate the capital, employ Transformation Magic. Remember, you're still a wanted Bandit," Light cautioned, his gaze unwavering. "But if possible, meticulously plot Gueldre Poizot's downfall."

Revchi's expression twisted in alarm and bewilderment.

Before Revchi could react, Light pressed on, his voice filled with an air of authority, "What I imply is not a call for Gueldre's demise. I wish for you to subdue him, alongside William."

Revchi's mind whirled in bewilderment and concern.

With an eerie detachment, Light continued, "Once you've quelled him... Deliver him to me, to become one of..." He paused, a sinister grin creeping across his face.

Revchi braced himself for what was to come, knowing well that his Master's ambition knew no bounds. Light sought not only to control his destiny but also the destinies of many others, a notion that only deepened Revchi's admiration.

The suspense hung in the air as Revchi anxiously awaited the completion of Light's sentence, "To become one of..."

A sly chuckle escaped Light's lips as he toyed with Revchi's anticipation.

"To become one of... The Grim Quill Society," Light declared, unveiling the slowly growing force he was assembling, "The Grim Quill Society."
