Chapter 113

Chapter 113: Activating Super Transformation Form

Three people and a cat surrounded Sharkler, lightly patting, touching, or poking him curiously.

The sensation of touching him was like leather, but the hardness and sound of tapping felt like metal. It wasn't clear if it had self-healing functions; the bite marks from Tom on his tail were almost gone.

Sharkler complained, "Hey, I allowed you to satisfy your curiosity because you've never seen a robot before, just this once. Even I, when studied like this, would feel shy. You're not doctors or scientists."

Curious, Rui Mengmeng asked, "Sharkler, when Tom bit you, did you say 'ouch'? Do robots feel pain too?"

"Of course, our B-Series robots are quite similar to humans in many ways. We feel pain, itchiness, hunger, and even get drunk. Eating the wrong thing can make us sick. We even have hospitals specifically for robots."

Besides these main character robots, the B Robo Kabutack world also had various engineering and police robots, all with high intelligence and many human-like features.

Even the Cobrander had once been fond of a widow with a child, which showed their aesthetics extended beyond just appreciating robots, but also humans.

"That's amazing," Rui Mengmeng said curiously. "Can you transform? Like the Transformers in the movies?"

Sharkler proudly stood up and said, "Of course I can. Would you like to see?"

"Sure, show us!" Adrian agreed first, driven by childhood memories.

Others also watched with anticipation.

"Alright, then... activate the super transformation form!" Sharkler shouted with great vigor before starting to transform.

His legs flipped from the base, revealing the thigh part, and the lower portion turned into calves. Two feet flipped out from below.

Two short hands flipped upwards, and two arms emerged from the gaps. His original shark head flipped open, sliding back to his back, while a smaller head rose from his body.

While it may sound verbose, the transformation process took less than a second. Those with poor dynamic vision wouldn't have seen what happened clearly.

After the transformation, Sharkler, who was initially a cute creature, turned into a handsome robot with black and red accents.

His height shot up from 1.6 meters to 2.18 meters, and his body proportions became more human-like.

After the transformation, Sharkler struck a few poses and received applause.

"So handsome!" Rui Mengmeng and Adrian exclaimed in unison. To borrow a phrase from certain anime, a robot that can transform is a man's romance!

Artoria and Tom's eyes also gleamed. This transformation was really cool. Also, they wondered if they could eat the shark on his back now.

Sharkler felt a chill on his back, as though something was staring at him. But he assumed it was just his imagination and explained, "After transforming into the super form, my power increases several times. It's the most suitable form for combat, even though it can only be maintained for fifteen minutes. Still, that's the longest among all the B-Series robots."

The strongest robots in the B-Series truly lived up to their name. Even Kabutack's transformation lasted only three minutes. If not for the protagonist's halo, just dragging out the time could exhaust him.

Artoria hesitated before asking, "What's with the shark on your back..."

Sharkler said, "This? It's one of my secondary weapons. Its function is... um, do you have any targets or something?"

Adrian said, "We have wooden stakes and scarecrows in the yard for training. Let's go there."

Sharkler chose a wooden stake as thick as a power pole, stood five meters away, and put his hands by his sides while slightly bending over and lowering his head. "Auxiliary Toothed Shark!"

The mechanical shark on his back flew out, biting the wooden stake into two pieces, sending wood chips flying.

Afterward, the mechanical shark returned and reattached to Sharkler's back.

Artoria and Tom looked disappointed. It seemed they really couldn't eat it.

Only Rui Mengmeng was a good audience, praising, "So strong!"

Praised, Sharkler was happy. "This isn't even my strongest weapon. The most powerful is the Super Shark Giant. It's around ten meters tall and can create tornadoes after transforming."

"Huh? Can you summon the Shark Giant here? This isn't your original world. Also, where do you hide such a huge thing usually?" Adrian asked.

"No problem. The Shark Giant was granted to me by Dr. Kouenji from the Planet of Peace as a wish. It's one of my auxiliary equipment, just like the Toothed Shark and Shark Cleaver. You could say the Shark Giant is in an alternate space that belongs to me. It appears when I call for it."

Adrian nodded, "Quite magical."

"Planet of Peace's power is naturally mysterious. Do you want to see my Super Shark Giant?" Sharkler wanted his new friends to know him better.

"Not now. It's too attention-grabbing. How about we go to the seaside another day? I remember it making quite a mess when it appears. It used to dive into the earth for a while, creating quite a spectacle."

"Alright, let's do that next time." Sharkler was accommodating to his companions' wishes.

"So, tonight, Sharkler, you can stay in my room for now. Tomorrow, we'll ask the carpenter to remodel the storage room into a proper bedroom."

All three upstairs rooms were full, but they could knock down the wall between the storage room and the main bedroom to create a larger bedroom.

Artoria said, "If it's inconvenient, I can share a room with Mengmeng. I'm not picky about accommodations."

Rui Mengmeng nodded, "I don't mind either. Living with Artoria in one room is like living in a dorm. It's fun."

Tom also chimed in, gesturing that he could give up his little nest for them.

Adrian laughed and patted his head, "Let's not touch your cat's nest. No one else can fit in there."

"Thank you, everyone. Actually, it's not that much trouble. I could just sleep on the floor today. I am a robot, after all, so I don't necessarily need a bed." Sharkler knocked on his chest, producing a metallic sound.

He was lying, of course. Earlier, he said that robots like him could feel pain, itchiness, and get sick. Now he said he didn't need a bed.

He said this because he felt their warmth and didn't want to burden them.

Due to his unique programming from Dr. Kouenji, Sharkler had once learned about the ugly side of humans, which led to his loneliness as he didn't want to make friends. He later changed, treasuring friends and learning the good side of humans.

In this new world, he encountered companions who genuinely cared about him, which made him very happy and filled with hope for the future.
