I summoned Tom at the start in OP Chapter 90

No matter what, Tom didn't believe he had any talent for home demolition.
Adrian had to change his wording: "So, can we design an ultra-strong and ultra-complex large mousetrap in this house?"
As soon as Tom heard this, he got excited, leaned over the table, and quickly drew dozens of intricate drawings with a pen. Each line was carefully measured by Tom with a ruler, very accurate.
A few minutes later, Tom picked up the drawings, nodded in satisfaction, and then picked up a hammer and a saw to get to work.
Wood, rope, bucket, scissors... it seemed like everything in sight could be used by Tom. Even if he couldn't find suitable things in the house, Tom could come up with substitutes from behind.
Five minutes later, the space in the room was almost filled with various things that Tom had set up. Some parts of the walls were sawed off by Tom to create suitable wooden boards.
Though he claimed he wouldn't demolish the house, he had already riddled the interior.
In order not to disturb Tom's arrangement, Adrian and the others had already retreated to a corner.
Finally, Tom left a space in the middle of the room and drew a red "X" on the floor, indicating the completion of the trap.
"Boss, Artoria, do you really think that Tom's creation is a mousetrap?" Rui Mengmeng maintained a shocked expression throughout, although no one could see it.
Artoria replied calmly, "He believes it is, so it is."
Adrian nodded, "Exactly, let's move these guys over."
The owner of the shop, the employees, the customers buying slaves, and even a few former pirates who became slaves were all piled up where Tom drew the red "X."
Those who could so naturally buy slaves here were not much different from human traffickers. It was better to deal with them together.
"Now the question is, how do we get out?" Adrian looked around. The front and back doors were blocked by Tom's devices, leaving no way out.
In the end, the four of them had to create an opening in the corner of the wall to escape.
After putting some distance between them and the scene, the four stood beside a tree, letting the tree's shadow conceal their own.
Adrian whispered, "How is this trap triggered?"
Tom gestured, but since he was invisible, no one could see it. He had to write with his finger on the ground, "Wait another two minutes."
Two minutes later, the sound of an alarm clock rang out. It was an old-fashioned alarm clock with a swinging pendulum that struck a bell above it. The pendulum was connected to a thin iron rod.
The other end of the iron rod was connected to a saw, which moved back and forth as the iron rod swung, cutting through a wooden beam. The other end of the beam fell, striking the handle of a pair of upright scissors.
The scissors snapped shut, cutting a string and causing a hammer hanging from it to fall, hitting a lever that launched a billiard ball into the air.
The black number 8 billiard ball traced a graceful arc in the air, landing on a raised platform made of wooden boards by Tom. It collided with a piece that should be called a domino, creating an intricate cat head pattern before the last piece fell into a bucket below.
The slight weight of the ball disrupted the balance of the seesaw on which the bucket sat. As one end of the seesaw dropped, the bucket tipped over.
The water from the bucket flowed precisely into another bucket suspended by a string. As the weight increased, the string connected to the bucket pulled a complex pulley system.
Finally, a thin string at the end of the pulley system snapped. A massive iron ingot, hanging from the roof beam, crashed down without mercy.
The ingot was labeled "100T," and below it were the scum of humanity piled on the red "X."
Bang!
The scene was not gruesome. The group of people were smashed into paper-thin figures simultaneously, embedded deeply into the ground along with the iron ingot.
As Tom designed the trap to catch mice rather than kill humans, it wasn't fatal. If they had the same constitution as Tom and Jerry, they would quickly recover; if not, who knows what would happen.
With the fall of the iron ingot, the entire house trembled, and coincidentally, cracks began to appear in the wall behind where Adrian and the others had opened an exit. The walls that Tom had dismantled also began to crack and eventually the entire roof collapsed, kicking up clouds of dust.
The sudden turn of events startled pedestrians on the street, who instinctively took a big step away from the danger.
Some had already drawn their weapons, eyeing the debris and the armed individuals on the opposite side of the wreckage.
'This house collapsed, and it's definitely their doing! They're trying to harm us!' With just a glance, both sides recognized each other as enemy factions.
The two rival groups that had been separated by the house now stood facing each other.
Not long after, the group that controlled the area around the shop received news and hurried over.
Apart from Tom himself, no one found it strange that his contraption caused such a commotion. After all, the trap was still set up, and no one would believe it was weak in power.
Adrian found Tom's head and lightly tapped it, saying, "And you said you can't take things apart."
Tom vigorously shook his head. "It's impossible, I didn't take the house apart. I really just made a mousetrap!"
"All right, let's go. There might be a big fight here soon." Adrian calculated the time; it was about time to return and open the shop.
It wasn't until evening when the events that transpired here spread. Adrian heard about it from people while opening the shop at night.
In essence, tens of people from two rival groups started a war, and a third party joined in. The two smaller groups that started the conflict were completely wiped out.
It was said that swords, knives, and guns were all employed, creating a fierce battle.
However, the shop that was seemingly destroyed by the two smaller groups was hardly mentioned. Perhaps compared to the gang war, it wasn't worth mentioning.
Regarding this, Adrian could only say that a bunch of scoundrels had met their end, a cause for celebration.
He had no idea about the identity of the ultimate victor. The shop seemed to be affiliated with them, so he wondered if they could trace it back to their headquarters and eliminate their leader.
...
At this moment, the person Adrian was eagerly thinking of eliminating was listening to his subordinate's report via a telephone bug.
"I'm very sorry, we lost a shop today." As the person in charge of Sabaody Land, he was worried about facing consequences.
"And the reason?" The voice on the other end remained steady.
"Presumably due to the conflict between two small factions, the shop was destroyed.
However, since all the slaves and employees are missing, it's also possible that someone came specifically to rescue the slaves. As all our other shops are safe, it probably wasn't a targeted action against us."
They couldn't find the store manager or the employees' whereabouts. Though there was a suspiciously large iron ingot embedded in the middle of the wreckage, a group of over ten people couldn't lift it out. So, they didn't think someone used it to destroy evidence.
"In that case, handle it yourselves. It's just a shop; I don't have the energy to deal with such trivial matters."
"Understood!"
The call ended, and someone nearby asked, "Did something happen in Sabaody Land? Shouldn't you send people to deal with it?"
"It doesn't matter. Dabbling in that domain is just a springboard into the dark world. Such business will be abandoned by the era sooner or later.
Right now, our most important focus is our next plan. Let's give those people a surprise. Fufufufufu..."
Fufufufufu...
