Keita Yoshida was a supporter of ShinRan, but unfortunately, Aoyama Gosho hadn't completed their story before Keita's transmigration.
However, based on Aoyama's affection for romantic relationships, it was certain that ShinRan would eventually become a couple.
Keita and Sonoko exchanged a glance, both wearing knowing smiles.
Keita extended his hand to Sonoko, "Ahem, Keita Yoshida."
Sonoko shook his hand and whispered, "Sonoko Suzuki."
An interesting woman, usually carefree and loud, but when she saw a handsome guy, she blushed and became so innocent.
In his past life, Keita had been busy and hadn't been in a relationship. Seeing the friendly interactions between Shinichi and Ran, he felt a pang of envy and the desire to experience a passionate love himself.
Watching Sonoko hug Ran and burst into laughter, Keita admired Sonoko's cheerful personality. She was straightforward and pure, exuding an air of happiness whenever she was around. She treated her friends with sincerity and kindness, occasionally playing pranks that added to her charm. Keita felt himself falling for her.
"Hey, hey, come back to reality. Someone's actually interested in that girl, Sonoko." Kudo Shinichi noticed Keita staring at Sonoko and muttered under his breath.
Keita blushed at Shinichi's remark and hurried back to his seat.
Seeing this, Ran whispered to Sonoko, "Sonoko, Keita-kun was looking at you just now."
Sonoko sneaked a glance and noticed Keita still looking their way. Her face turned red, "No way, don't make things up. He must be looking at you. Annoying Ran, whenever you're around, handsome guys look at you. They never notice me, sniff."
Sonoko pretended to cry and playfully complained.

During the break.
Soon, the school bell rang, signaling the end of classes for the day.
Teitan High School started classes at 9 a.m. and finished at 4:30 p.m. Students who participated in club activities could stay until 6:30 p.m., and the school closed at 7 p.m.
Keita Yoshida, Kudo Shinichi, Mouri Ran, and Suzuki Sonoko headed downstairs together.
Among them, Mouri Ran was a member of the karate club, and Sonoko was in the school's tennis club. The two chatted about their club activities.
"By the way, maybe I should also join a club." Keita mused aloud.
Hearing this, Mouri Ran invited him, "Why don't you come visit the karate club? Our recruitment isn't over yet."
Keita pretended to inquire, "Oh, Mouri-san, do you practice karate as well?"
"Hehe, Ran is quite skilled in karate. If it weren't for age restrictions, she could have earned a black belt by now." Sonoko proudly introduced.
"Oh~ Mouri-san is a black belt too? What style?" Keita continued to inquire.
"Really? You also practice karate, Yoshida-kun? I'm from Kyokushin style, currently at the brown belt level." Mouri Ran answered.
"Impressive. Matsutao School of Karate, brown belt level. Keita Yoshida, humbly joining in." Keita offered a formal greeting.
"No way, you're also into karate?" Sonoko exclaimed.
Keita modestly replied, "Just a bit. So, how about we go visit the karate club? Kudo, are you interested?"
Kudo Shinichi seemed disinterested, "I'll pass. I have something to take care of later. I'll see you guys."
"Wait, we're organizing a fashion exhibition at my house this Friday. There will be a lot of unique designs. Why don't you come too?" Keita pulled out the fashion exhibition tickets his mother, Ami, gave him in the morning and handed one to each of them.
"'Tokyo Fashion Exhibition'? Ran, let's go. It's been a while since we went shopping together." Sonoko excitedly suggested.
"Shinichi..." Mouri Ran hesitated. She knew Shinichi wasn't interested in such events.
Keita quickly flipped through the magazine and showed them some pictures. "These are photos of the items at the exhibition. Take a look."
Keita deliberately turned to his own pictures, including some designs he had proposed to the designers, many of which were from two decades into the future.
Sonoko and Mouri Ran took the magazine, their eyes lighting up.
Mouri Ran pulled Shinichi and pleaded with puppy eyes, "Come on, Shinichi. Let's go. Please?"
"Alright, alright, I give in. I'll go with you guys. You're impossible." Kudo Shinichi gave in, shaking his head.
After the exhibition discussion, the three of them headed toward the karate club.
As they walked, the two girls continued to discuss the magazine excitedly.
...
After the exhibition visit, Keita decided to join the karate club.

The next day.
In the morning, the TV was playing the morning news.
"... And now, let's take a look at the weather. There will be heavy rainfall of up to 200 millimeters in the Tokyo area this afternoon. Citizens are advised to take precautions..."
Due to Toshio Yoshida's job nature, he often had to stay up late to work on manuscripts. Today, the whole family managed to have breakfast together.
"Ah, Keita, remember to take an umbrella with you. They said it'll rain in the afternoon." Ami reminded him.
"I got it. Dad, how's the progress on 'Doraemon: Dinosaur' movie? Will it be released on time?" Keita asked.
"It's coming along well. We're in the final stages of post-production. We started extensive promotion yesterday, and it'll be released on May 1st as planned. We'll also make a new movie every May from now on." Toshio Yoshida replied.
"That's great. When the time comes, I'll bring the whole class to watch it. Remember to reserve some tickets for us. What about Mom's fashion exhibition? A wealthy lady might be attending, so give it your all. If she's satisfied and promotes it on social media, we might get orders from other wealthy ladies."
Ami patted her chest, making a thumping sound, "Count on me."
"Off to school now. See you."
"Take care on your way." *2

Arriving at the classroom.
Ran and Sonoko were already there.
From afar, Keita saw Ran looking pale and approached to find Sonoko scaring her.
"An eerie sigh in the gym warehouse, books being scattered in the library for four consecutive days, a cursed staircase... All signs point to the fact that the soul of Hideaki Hosaka, who died accidentally a year ago, is haunting us." With a gloomy tone, Sonoko described.
"Ah—, stop it, Sonoko. You know I have duty next week. Don't talk nonsense." Ran was trembling with fear.
Keita walked over to Shinichi and asked, "What's wrong with Mouri-san? She looks pale."
"Ugh, that Sonoko
. She heard some ghost stories from who knows where and has been scaring Ran since early morning. Hey, Sonoko, cut it out. And Ran, seriously, ghosts don't exist in this world." Kudo Shinichi complained.
Ran whispered softly, "But, Shinichi, I'm scared. Besides, the girls from the sports club did hear ghostly cries coming from the sports equipment warehouse that morning."
Sonoko chimed in, "And what about the books being thrown around? And that cursed staircase? It's definitely the soul of Hideaki Hosaka crying on the stairs, which is why there's a puddle of water on the ground."
Kudo Shinichi wasn't interested in school supernatural stories.
Seeing this, Keita suggested, "How about we investigate during lunchtime?"
Seeing Ran looking at him expectantly, Kudo Shinichi surrendered, "Fine, fine. I can't stand it anymore."
