I tried to pack so much into this illustration that it ended up feeling a bit messy, and I ended up with fewer drawings—sorry about that!
I'd been secretly experimenting with coloring from grayscale for a while, but it seems coloring from grayscale just isn't for me...
However, it wasn't a complete failure—I've learned how to draw beautiful gradients using ordinary, standard brushes!
This illustration doesn't use that technique, but my next piece will showcase smooth, complex gradients using just those common, everyday brushes!

グレースケールからの着色など効率的に絵を描く方法を模索してたんですけど、自分にはあまり合わなく、どうしても安っぽく見えてしまう現象が起こってしまい、悩んでいました。
今回はこれ以上のグレースケールからの着色の研究はやめておきますｓｓｓｓ
