March Newsletter - Immmportant updates!

So some good news coming to you today!

Im really trying to dedicate myself to creating a well rounded schedule for myself, because Im starting to fall back into my rut of motivationless work.

I'm going to cover a few updates, but don't worry, nothing is being taken away for the patreon, or changed for the most part.

Firstly. 

I am going to have a definite day in mind for the commission streams this month and in the future. This also means that if you are a $10 or $25 patrons that you'll be a bit more responsible for claming your commissions. 

I will continue to send reminders at the beginning of the month  asking you to send me a response.

When you respond back, you have a couple options.

a. Claim your commission and send references for that month

b. opt out for the months commission. If you opt out you cannot claim it again. 

c. roll over the current months commission for a double/couple commission in the following month. (I will do a max of two characters) and I will not grant double requests if the current month has passed and you failed to email me. 

Dates and deadlines you should know (Again Ill still be sending emails and making posts as usual.)

 2ND THRUSDAY OF THE MONTH, 9 pm pst --- (ex: March 9th)

 Send your character references, opt outs or roll over status emails to (breindigom@gmail.com)

 2ND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH 11:30 am pst --- (ex: March 10th)

I will be doing the commission streams @ THIS LINK - subscribe to the stream in order to recieve emails when I go live. I will also be posting remidners and the link to all social media sites before going live. 

If you miss the first deadline, I'll still do your commission - though not in a stream and not recorded -  but your next deadline to get me your email is the FOLLOWING FRIDAY (3rd friday of the month --- ex: March 17th)

If you miss that deadline - you therefore agree to voluntarily opt out for the commission reward for the current month. 

I know that it sounds really harsh but I really do stress myself out making sure that everyone gets their commissions and of cousre I understand and apprechiate if you plan on supporting without the reward but Im just trying to uphold my end of the deal <3, but I am offering more than enough chances to claim your reward. Anyway,  since the deadline is pushed up a bit,  I'll get to post the commissions publically, earlier in the month . 

For those supporters that pledge late in the current month, I will automatically roll over your commissions to the following month - however, you are still obligated to meet the deadlines for that month.

Secondly.

I want try to dedicate at least one day a week to personal art, so that ideally I'll be able to share those things on a weekly/bi-weekly basis on FRIDAYS in the evening. These might be wips of illustrations Im trying to complete, or simply developmental art for future comics. 

Either way, it'll be good for me to break away from Jamie and comic art for a little every once in a while, and give you guys a taste of what I am capable of. Heck, I might even get experimental. 

Third,

I know that I was kind of testing out the waters with the private blog for $5+ tiers to read pages as they are released and I really kind of love the concept - so Im going to keep on that and do my best (along with my wife who is now helping out when she can) to get you all at LEAST 4 pages a month. This way you'll always be at least a month ahead of the public's place in the story.

On top of all of these montly routine concepts, I hope that my daily routine can become more healthy and organized as well. Typically I wake up and slug my way around trying to motivate myself to work. I rarely see the sunlight and dont like eating. Its very.... unhealthy and it is going to end up tearing me apart if I dont take a good look at myself. 

Lastly,

Were really really close to the next community goal of gaining a discord server for fans and private discord server for supporters. I kind of decided on this option over scheduled streams on a hidden picarto account or google hangouts becasue it would be more stable and less likely to be infiltrated by non-supporters (which wouldnt be fair to yall!) - as well as the fact that discord is somehow merging patreon as an app? So ill definitely be looking into that!
