Update

Update 9th June

We now have our little Loki home 😭🩵
He's still in a lot of pain & on three lots of medication, but all we can do is make him as comfortable as possible, & monitor him very closely over the next few days whilst he recovers 😣 The vets told us there is a chance he could have another blockage, but we're really hoping & praying that that doesn't happen...



It's definitely been a tough last few days... was a struggle in it's self to get time off work/no pay, then the hefty vet fees on top... so trying to manage and get through things as best as we can...

*Update 8th June*
Thank you so much for your kind words & prayers guys 🩵
Everything has been a bit hectic & we are completely beside ourselves at the moment 😭
Loki's surgery seemed to go ok, his notes have stated the obstruction/blockage was about half way...

We were told he would now need overnight care & monitoring for 48 hours, but because our own vets don't do overnight/emergency care, we had to pick him up & take him to different practice...



Our poor baby 😭we feel totally helpless right now...
Safe to say it's been so mentally taxing & looking to be financially taxing too 😭 (emergency vets first apt was around £300, surgery est. around £2k, then a further est. £400 for his 48 hour stay at the emergency vets whilst they monitor him, if nothing else is needed)
So yeah, not sure how we're exactly going to afford it as things are unfortunately very tight right now, but what else could we do? 🫠😭
Hoping & praying he recovers well & that we can pick him up on Sunday 🙏🏼🤞🏼😭

Hey guys,

Just a little update & heads up (did post over on our discord too, but I know not everyone is on there) 
We've had a bit of a going on with our boy Loki 🙁 we had to take him to the emergency vets 1am last night/this morning... left with meds and suspected cystitis.
Unfortunately he was still having issues this morning (9am-ish) & hadn't been able to pass any liquids at all, so had to take him back to the vets again this morning & they've said he seems to have a urinary blockage & is requiring emergency surgery 😭
So please bear with us, & our apologies if we're a bit slow getting back to anyone/posting... We're hoping he's going to be ok... and just currently waiting to hear back from them once he's had his surgery 😟
