He has a rivalry with Theo Russey, who fights with Miles for Siobhan’s attention. Miles hopes to begin learning magic soon.
I usually don't think about how fair Miles looks. He's almost fairer than Sebastien.
Writing update: I have been putting in many hours plotting the next book during this hiatus, taking notes in the shower, and waking up at 1am to write down thoughts before they slip away. I'm on track to start posting chapters again on Thursday.

The sleepful lady smells of sleep, and the sleepy smell means sleep at last. Insomnia does weird things to a growin' boy's psyche. That and the magic. Hard to not appreciate things like that when they help you hold on to your previously-waning sanity
