Children's Rhyme - Harry Harold Had no Hands Audiobook

[Accompanying Book 4's "Harry Harold Had no Hands"/ Chapter 147]

This rhyme details the life and untimely demise of Harry Harold, who had no hands but cast through his jeweled shoes. In cadence, it is often accompanied by clapping and footwork, or in more ominous tones, recited to children around the fire and as they are tucked into bed.

Children's Rhyme - Harry Harold Had no Hands Audiobook

You can probably thank her - indirectly - for me joining patreon and a few of my friends getting into the series. My friend recommended your book and I had a free audible credit, so with low expectations of the narrator I bought it before a road trip and ended up LOVING her narration almost as much as the book. (I have a history of liking books but then disliking the narrator.) Then I bought all of them on Kindle, because I like that better. And audiobook, because HOW COULD I NOT? And then I bought them in paperback because it feels wrong to not have a copy of your favorite book in hard copy. And then a few copies of the first ones for friends... It's becoming a problem that I have no plans to stop. πŸ˜‚

Yes. Yes she is. She is a straight up BOSS. (ₐₙ𝒹 ₐₗₛₒ β‚›α΅€β‚šβ‚‘α΅£ β‚‘β‚“β‚šβ‚‘β‚›β‚™α΅’α΅₯β‚‘)

I finally listened to the whole thing, and WOW. Your narrator is an artist. ✨

I’ve been reading Grimm; I just came across β€œThe Seven Ravens.” It feels like a story from A Practical Guide: The ravens are seven brothers, who were cursed into ravens by their father. He cursed them because he was waiting for christening water for his daughter and the brothers weren’t quick enough to bring it from the well. When the girl grew old enough to find out out about them, she goes to save them. When she finds that the seven ravens are in a Glass mountain, little girl cuts off and offered her pinky finger to open the door to it. The brothers are saved and everyone lives happily every after. Somehow that tale was skipped over in the fairy tale anthologies I had as a kid.

Thanks! That's totally what I was going for. Though reader Stephen Cahill did help me a lot with the meter, turning my salad-tossed and amateurish preliminary poem into something better.

This starts out rather whimsical and gets progressively darker... I LOVE IT! This has old school Grimm fairy tale vibes!
