What's going to happen to FST?

The interest in FST wasn't as strong as I was hoping for, that said I very much what to finish the story I had in mind in some form.

I've learned a lot from the pilot chapter;

-Having two sex scenes, while good for the purpose of a pilot, isn't good for the reader. It divides the audience and makes it so that the only people able to enjoy the chapter as a whole are those that specifically enjoy both scenarios.

-my pages are too cluttered. trying to squeeze in as much non sex into a very small space as I could wasn't a great plan.

-the chapter is too long. people want story but they also want very consumable bites of adult content. 4 sperate tweets is a lot to ask of people.

-the lack of an eye catching cover image or title page was a mistake. a lazy one that came from me rushing to the deadline.

-I'm not happy with the quality of the art on each page. character model inconsistencies are constant and in general I just feel that I can do better now.

If you're a second tier patron or even just by looking at the first page of my current project you can see that I've tackled all of these issues. once I've finished with Bananas & Coconuts I want to apply what I learn from that to FST.

Let's address the elephant in the room:

most of FST goes against patrons community guidelines. I learned this well into the project and decided to post most of it to discord to try and avoid damages. I'm frustrated with the double standard of art censorship and aware that many patrons make this sort of content with years of no action from patron. I hate breaking even the spirit of rules even knowing i can get away with it. It makes me nervous enough that its a solid reason to halt the continuation of Bud and Felix's story.

That said... I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing. keeping it off of patreon as much as I can while still delivering on my artistic vision on Discord.

So now what?

Firstly: Bananas and Coconuts. Most of my energy for comics will be going to that over the next few months.

Bud and Felix will still be making appearances in Patron Prompts, Quickies, and commissions. Felix will even be a cameo in B&C

I can't say for certain what I'll be doing after that because I want to grow and learn in whatever direction that experience takes me.

What I would like to do

-Double the chapter count so each chapter is about 6-8 pages and has 1 adult scene. same content, just spread out a little more.
-I'll probably be removing the magic stuff I had planned. if you know you know. it will still be "canon" its just not relevant to the stories of Bud, Brute, and Caleb
-I'd really like to make a side comic about the Gutman's neighbors, Gautam and Rasheed. They were going to be in FST but I really need to hone in the plot as much as possible.
-I want to focus on building up characters I already have. in whatever form that ends up taking.

TL;DR The Pilot failed but ~~iM gOnnA Do It ANywAY~~~ later down the line.
