Update 7/1/21

Hello my wonderful patrons and welcome to my new supporters! This last month immediately and drastically went off the rails, but not all in a bad way.

TL;DR

Dad/son stuff will now only be on the discord, expect more Quickies :3

Over the last month:

-I realized that because Family Sex Therapy is completely linear it would be a better use of time and resources to just have it be a regular webcomic instead of a visual novel. no music, no coding, no editing, no downloading, no itch.io. there won't be any change to the story and hopefully I can get it out faster this way but because of the next few points "faster" is going to be slower than what I had been planning the last few months.

-Out of curiosity one night I emailed patreon staff in regards to an unclear statement in their community guidelines that had me worried about making a patreon for years before my peers assured me that I would be fine. Inc*st is used as an example for the glorification of noncons*nsual acts in fiction which is against their guidelines. This made it seem that as long as I'm not writing about sexual violence I should be fine. Turns out it's not. No matter how wholesome and therapeutic it is my huge patreon funded project is against their community guidelines.

-I looked into other hosting and financial support options and here they are

        -Use a platform that is okay with my content but also promotes very bad white men (thats a hard no)

        -Continue using patreon but only post the racy stuff on discord. (this is a grey area that makes me nervous about randomly losing a chunk of my income without notice)

         -Host my content on my own website and charge a direct subscription fee on the site for exclusive content like artdecade(it will cost about 300 dollars to get my site properly set up for this and after that it will be hard to convince most people its safe and legit)

Ill go into my plan at the end.

-I stopped streaming because i realized that I'm doing it for the wrong reasons. I prefer being behind a pencil and letting my content speak for itself. I might pick it up again in the future but for now I've taken down the stream schedule from izvy.art

-With that revelation i decided to focus on commissions and quickies this month. I got 3 commissions done. (one was private so its not attached)

-I got FIVE quickies done.  a new one everyday for a whole week. that has doubled the amount of 4 panel comics ive made total.

-I tried making a storyboard version of the first scene of FST. I want to do more style tests but if youre 2nd tier you can find that pdf on discord in the wip-comics channel.

-I've been messing around with Anitas design. its not done yet. sexy women are difficult for me

Goals for July:

-make enough commissions to start saving for my website update

-make more quickies

The plan for FST:

I'll still work on it whenever the mood strikes but for now Its sadly on the backburner. I need to be sure it will have a home to land on when I finish it. The plan is to continue using patreon but anything explicit with Bud and Felix will only be posted on the discord until my website gets updated. At which point the aim is to make it so a patreon subscription will give access to the same content on my site as a direct payment. Splitting the source of revenue has me worried about reaching that $500/month goal to do a whole "season" but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
