I'M BACK, BABY!

I'm back, y'all! New and improved! Better than ever! Twice the smut-writing power!

So, since some of you are probably not on the discord and haven't heard from me at all in like 18 months, let's do a quick refresher on all the shit that happened. I got a job offer out of nowhere from a large adult game company. I worked for them on a game called Hentai Clicker, designing parody characters and writing dialogue. The pay was amazing compared to what I was making on patreon, and so, I worked there for about… a little more than a year, I believe? Unfortunately, they eventually shut down development on Hentai Clicker, and moved me to a new game called Comix Harem. That's where things started getting rough. From the start, the format I was working in was much less story/dialogue based, and the kinds of characters I was allowed to design were much more limited. No amazons, no thicc girls.  As time went on, they kept adding more and more rules. No monster girls, no unnatural skin colors, no robots, spandex costumes only, no short hair, nothing obscuring the face… It finally culminated in them telling me I had to start producing characters in less than half the time it currently took me, and the only way to do that would be to stop putting any design work into the characters at all and fill the dialogue with aimless dirty talk instead of a story. So I quit. I couldn't take it anymore, and I've returned to reconnect to the FUN parts of writing smut again. And also make some money.

You may notice I changed my username, and my icon, and the name of the page since the last time the patreon was active. That's because- as you may have gathered- I'm trans! I go by She/Her pronouns now! You can still call me Admiral, or Squish, or you can call me Squi(she), or Lady Admiral, etc. Honestly, I've been thinking I might be trans for a few years now, I just had a lot of denial to work through before I could accept the truth. I'm just beginning the transitioning process, but it should be an interesting ride, and I hope y'all stick around for it! I'm gonna be writing a bunch more futa stuff in the coming days, but I'll still be writing male-focused stuff as well!

On a more positive note, while I was away, my doctor has significantly increased the dosage of my ADHD meds and I've found an antidepresseant that doesn't fuck with my libido- these two factors combined means, these days, I can actually write for like two or three times as much time each day without feeling exhausted! Right at the end there before quitting the last job, I was working forty hour weeks and doing little bits and pieces of fun writing after work on top! Which, for you all, means I'm gonna be able to produce a lot more smut than before! Look forward to that!

Now, some patreon stuff! I am phasing out the previous 'Muse' tier! I'm not going to be doing commissions that way anymore! If you're pledging at that tier, consider switching to the new 'Muse 2.0' tier, or 'Supporter'. Instead of having like 8 commissioned stories in rotation, none of which are progressing fast enough to satisfy the audience OR the commissioner, I'm going to be doing the usual commission thing- I'm gonna open a set number of commission slots at set prices, and work through them one by one.

Going forward, I will also be trying to get freelance writing work, since patreon alone is not going to be sufficient to pay the bills unless I get a LOT of new patrons very suddenly. Freelance work will take priority over smut, but I should be able to keep up a relatively consistent pace regardless.
