Musings: May!

It’s a new month! There’s new stories to read, new stories to write, and a new update post to talk about it all in!

On a personal note, if my math is right and nobody’s card gets declined, I will make more money this month than I ever have on patreon before! It absolutely could not have come at a better time, and I’m so, so thankful to all of you, both those who’ve been supporting me from the start and those who’ve only recently joined up. I hope you all stick around, there’s always more smut to be written, and I look forward to corrupting you all further in the coming months!

In related news, I honestly feel great. I don’t know what it is, exactly. Maybe it’s just that I finally have a little space to breathe in terms of stories, that I’m not always desperately trying to meet a deadline. Maybe it’s the money. Maybe it’s springtime and there’s more sun, but my allergies haven’t kicked in yet to cancel that out. My living situation is precarious, money’s tight, as always, and I think I gained some weight, but… for some reason, I feel better than I have in years. The other day, I caught a glimpse of myself in a window while I was out running errands and I thought ‘hey, I look pretty good right now’. That wouldn’t be noteworthy, but it’s literally been years since the sight of my reflection didn’t make me painfully self-conscious. I find myself whistling while I cook sometimes. I feel like I might be able to make plans, to do more than just try and survive the month. I mean… I just write porn on the internet. It’s nothing really important, in the grand scheme of things, I’m not going to change the world, I just want to make it a little more sexy and fun.  But honestly… this might be a little bit of a heavy subject for a musing post, but I don’t know if I’d still be here if it weren’t for this, for all of you. I might have given up. I might not have stuck around long enough for it to get better. So, thank you. All of you. Really.
