March was weird. I got stuck on By The Horns for like two weeks for no good reason, though I supposed there were a couple legitimate distractions in there… For example, I had to help my grandma move which ate up like three days, and I ordered a new computer (in parts). I’m really excited to be able to play video games that aren’t all either ten years old or pixel-art indie games! Anyways, I’m a little behind schedule, but I’m confident I’ll be able to catch up (provided some new game doesn’t swallow me up).
[April Fools]There’s one more thing I’ve been working on behind the scenes: I’ve been working on my art skills for a while now! I’ve always wanted to be able to draw, and over the last couple months I’ve been making it a point to work on it, you know, spend an hour a day practicing, watching tutorials, etc. Ultimately, I’d love to be able to illustrate my own stories, maybe even make a comic of my own… Anyways. You can only get so far working on your own, and I’m finally at a place where I’m reasonably confident in my artistic abilities, so I figured, what better way to start off posting my work with a little self-portrait I’ve done recently? I’d love to get some critique (be gentle)![/April Fools]
