Progress Update June 2022

I'm gonna take the time to update you and myself on that work I plan to do for the rest of the month of June!

Fairy Rings

I'm taking a week break after the upcoming update on the 17th. This means ther will be no public update on June 24th. I will return to weekly updates in July. I had originally thought to put a oneshot in between the two arcs, but in order to make it a oneshot I would need to put the same amount of effort I put into multiple updates and cram it all into one. After mulling it over, I decided that the plannet oneshot needs more setup in order to be understood properly.

I'm still undecided about the June 24th gap in updates, and I may change up the schedule on Webtoon to update every other week rather than weekly. I need to put more effort into advertising my work and spreading it around across social media, as I am a one man army here. Focusing on making the story good and helping it make sense to my audience is my main priority.

Anyway. The next storyline is about Karlyn going to the Fairy Circus, and hitting a major hiccup in her quest to deliver the mail: the recipient can't see or hear her! And she doesn't have a psychic to help her out this time. 

HSETAU

Things are keeping up normally on HSETAU's end. I've written out the text for the next couple of updates and it will hopefully segway nicely into the arc. The updates themselves happen when they happen and no sooner, but I might start advertising it elsewhere because I have a lot of work put into it and I'd like it if more people could check it out!

Right now I keep forgetting to put work into updating the banner and icon for the comic because it's in need of that. I also need to update the Adventure Map on the site so that it is up to date with the content, which I'm struggling with more than I expected to. Here's how I plan to approach it:

• Open the original file for the icon
• Make a new layer with a new design to add to the gif cycle.
• (I will likely need to work a bit harder on this upcoming icon because the story focuses on multiple kids at once rather than on a singular carpacian and their human friend, so I should prepare to work on that first)

For the Adventure Map:

• Make a new "pinboard" background
• Take the newer panels and make them into little pictures
• Connect them in a coherent, followable way with the Conspiracy Strings
• Set up the links to match up with the pictures.
• (I'll need to goof around with some programming hiccups I've encountered with the links on the image not lining up on the website I host it on)
