We got Mermaids
Added 2022-05-08 21:17:57 +0000 UTCFairy Rings has a specific location planned where the gravity is so low, and the pull of the center moon is so strong, the ocean's waves can reach all the way into space. The people who live here do have wings, but through the power of evolution, those wings changed shape and became the fins on their feet. The people of this land use their fish fin feet to swim through both ocean water and the air. Since light could come and go at any moment, having bioluminescence was advantageous to their survival so that they could see regardless of if the sunlight reached them.
This is how I managed to finagle a way to put mermaids in my fairy comic and have it make internal sense thank you for your attention
