Progress Update August 2021

Hello everyone! Apologies for the lack of info and updates here, I've been very nervous and uneasy lately. Anxious. School's coming on next week so I'm worried I won't be able to update substantially or get everything squared away once school starts up. I've also recently had a personal turmoil that's made it difficult to find the motivation to work on just about anything. With that said, here's what I've got planned.

HSETAU

Due to personal reasons I stated in the first paragraph, I'm struggling to get the motivation to do the work necessary for the panels. The story itself is outlined and ready to go and be fleshed out, but I lack the energy to work on the images right now. I need to save my energy, too, because my final year of college is coming up and I'll be working on my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration from September onwards. I'm not sure how to keep up a weekly update schedule and with school without making tinier updates of maybe a page every week. For a Homestuck-style fanventure, one page is hardly anything though, so I guess all I can do is apologize to the people I'll be disappointing by posting smaller updates, or posting less often.

Other Stuff

As stated above, my Bachelor's of Fine Arts assignment is coming up. My plan is to make a franchise/webcomic about listening to people and discovering heritage. It follows an interstellar postal worker named Karlyn who flies from one end of her ring shaped planet to the other, meeting new people and hearing their stories as she delivers the space mail. You may recognize her, actually! She's the header image on my social media accounts.

I also have a couple of other things I need to do for some smaller projects headed by other people. I was approached by a Sonic fancomic project called Archie Sonic Online to do layouts for some pages, and by the creator of Alternate Mewniverse to make assets for a flash. I'll try to square those obligations away as soon as I can, and minimize the amount of work I push myself to do until I'm in a better place to actually do that work.
