Chapter 50.05- Oak
Added 2023-03-06 20:51:39 +0000 UTCI sat on a bench outside the school, already bored out of my mind. I remembered the conversation with Oak that had led me here.
“You had something to talk to me about?” I asked as I walked into the lab with a bit of a stagger. He’d sent Alakazam to drag me out of bed so this had better be very important.
“You’ll be taking Gary to school, yes?” He asked and I nodded. He should already know this. I’d gone through pains to keep him involved in the enrollment process. “Good. You’ll have to remain therefore the first few days to watch over him and then you can leave a pokemon after the first week” I had to be sleeping because he didn’t say what he just said.
Perhaps sensing my confusion he chose to elaborate. “Gary is my grandson. He’s of interest to all sorts of people with bad intentions. You’ll be there to ward off their advances. Don’t worry, I had to do the same thing with Alakazam when all of you went off to school.” What?
“You mean Alakazam was watching me in school?”
“Yes he was.”
“All the time?”
“Constantly”
“So that means you…”
“Yes, I am aware of your experience in school. Alakazam wanted to intervene but I knew that your suffering would only strengthen you and I was right, wasn’t I?”
Already used to the futility of trying to argue with Oak, I just turned around and walked away.
A/N; How’s this fluff looking? Wasn’t able to write much today. I feel like crap. Stay away from alcohol, kids. I’m also considering starting a discord. What do you think?
