[EDIT! Slots closed] WIP and Announcement: Commissions!

Hello! Quick weekly WIP, and announcement!

I'm deciding to try out opening up commissions~

It's something I've been always scared to do, even though I love the idea, because I am SO bad at pricing my work! I really don't want to feel like I'm charging too much, but I also have to get enough for this to be worth doing financially, because sadly, we need money to live.

Before that's settled however, I do need a testing period to figure out how that's going to work, how much I'm capable of doing when it's not for myself, if anyone is even interested and if the prices are okayish. So I'm opening 2 test slots - I will be first opening up to Patreons as priority access since you're supporting me closely here (thank you so much as always!), and if there's no interest until June 1st, I will open them to followers on Bluesky. If you're interested but need more time, let me know too!

[EDIT! 29/05: I'm deciding to close the form earlier for now because I got more requests than I was imagining! I made my choice and will be getting in contact with you. There were many wonderful ideas and I'm getting way too tempted on picking more than 2, but that would go against the purpose of this first test, so I will limit myself. If I didn't, I'm really sorry if I couldn't take yours right now. :')

I will keep you all updated as I work on those, and how I'm going to do with the next round. Maybe I can keep a waiting list? There's a lot to consider still and I'm very new to this, so...

Price is subject to change in the future, but for this first one I'm trying to keep it low, even though I feel animation is still expensive. Because these are the first ones and I'm asking for full patience from those that are trusting me to get started with them.

Also, if anyone here is experienced with commissions, I'd love some advice. I hope I will get things right eventually!

Other than that, as far as WIP goes, I didn't get a lot done this week, but the Storm's Wake layout is slowly taking shape:

This one will end up taking longer than the last few videos, and the timeline will be getting a little longer as it goes! You can see over there those many layers on top are the textboxes with the story's dialogue, and below the Adjustment Layer, the shots I have blocked so far.

I'm a little worried that the video could be confusing to those that start watching it not knowing the actual story, but I hope I can make it cute and interesting enough with a few tweaks. It's basically the introduction of the story but voiceless cutscene format, and I feel like it will end up in a similar style as the Linkshell and Azys Lla video.

I've been second-guessing myself with this one, sometimes I think it's not interesting enough... then I remember these type of cute character interactions are my favorite parts in the MSQ, so I'm just making one of those cutscenes! Maybe it will help more people find out about those short stories...I remember getting comments in my Eorzea Academy one about people that didn't know the manga existed but now they read it, and that makes me happy to hear.

Plus, any excuse to animate G'raha being adorable is good to me.
